An Expert status will identify you as a leader in your field, and as such raise you up so as to act as a point of contact and advice. ROMFI would like to recognise experts in their fields, and present them, their dedication, and their expertise to the world. Visitors will locate you either directly from a Product topic page, Resource menu, or by searching from one of the search engines. For example; someone in your area may be looking for advice about a specific object will find your name and be able to contact you. Also, there are always be museums, auction-houses, insurance companies, customs agents looking for expert opinions and appraisals, and even film studios making films where attention to detail is important, will look to find experts for advice. Apart from the potential to increase your income, you may also have the opportunity to find new objects to enrich your collection or research, and even be invited to give speeches, or make radio & TV appearances.

COST: No Cost. However, Expert status is awarded based on the number, and the quality of posts that a person has made. You must have posted at least 300 main items, or 800 "Yes I Have", or a combination thereof in a ratio of 1:3. (Around 8000 ROMFI Credits). Also, no more that 15% of your main page Product postings should have been challenged by others. Filling in this form will flag ROMFI staff to follow your posting activities more closely. We respect everyone's right to privacy, and the fact that not all experts want to be publicised.The more items you contribute, the higher up the search results and lists you will appear.
